April - Ground breaking ceremony at the proposed tank site- 13th April.

An initial payment of US $ 500 was handed over for purchasing of raw materials such as cement, and steel.

Permit obtained from the local authorities to collect the sand from "Siyambalngamuwa Oya"
 

2007

April - Ground Breaking and work started

May - Collection and delivery of sand by the villagers - May 5th

June - Location of the Well is finalized and water is tested.

July - Construction work of the Water Tank in progress

August - 40' support and bottom platform of the tank is complete

September - Work of the 12' diameter well has started

2008

January - Well Work is completed

February  - Tank is complete

March - Pump house is being built

April - Tank Ladder fixed

May - Irish - Sri Lanka Trust Fund officials visit the site, plumbing materials delivered and Work is in progress to lay the pipes

June - Plumbing  work is in progress

July - Plumbing work completed

August - Pump House work Completed

September - Waiting for Water Pumps

October - Project is near completion

November - Projected opening date November 16th 2008
